SuperView / Messages

Problems that threaten the continuity of the IT facilities must be reported to the right person as soon as possible. SuperView offers extensive possibilities to send messages. Examples:
  • messages via PC soundcard;
  • Windows Popup messages;
  • E-mail;
  • pager and SMS messages;
  • voice telephone messages.

The Windows End-User Messenger is a small programme that runs quietly in the background on the PC. This programme makes sure that SuperView messages are immediately presented to the user.

Both the SuperView Client programme and the End-User Messenger allow messages to be sent to the user by means of the PC soundcard.

SuperView provides several options for sending messages to the outside world. SuperView can e.g. send messages by E-mail, or forward messages to numeric or text enabled pagers. It is also possible to send SMS messages to GSM mobile phones.

SuperView / Request & Info Center can initiate phone calls, allowing problem messages to be sent by phone. The number to be called can be stored in the duty roster. Asking the person who answers the phone to identify himself with a PIN code allows the system to verify and record that the message has reached the correct person.

Expected repair times may be set over the phone via SuperView, if required.
